Tammy Tecklenburg, Founder & CEO, dott., Receives MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Individual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Award

MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers announced three annual awards focusing on advocacy and diversity, equity, and inclusion that were presented at the 2023 AAPEX event in Las Vegas.

Research Triangle Park, N.C. – Tammy Tecklenburg, founder and CEO of dott., was awarded the 2023 MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Individual Award on November 1, 2023, at the AAPEX show in Las Vegas.

Her contributions have been transformative for our industry."

Throughout her career, Tammy has consistently championed education, diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially for women and minorities in the aftermarket. Over her 29-year career, she's been instrumental in creating a movement that increased female representation in the aftermarket from 2% to roughly 20%. Tammy was the president and community founder for “Women in Auto Care,” and started the industry’s first mentor program. Her diverse initiatives, ranging from education to mentoring, have had a significant impact on both individuals and the industry. And, under her leadership, dott. has been a catalyst for systemic change, striving to make the aftermarket industry a top choice for career seekers.

Ben Brucato took to the stage to announce Tammy Tecklenburg as the 2023 AASA Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Individual Award winner.

Also honored during the award presentation was Dana Inc. which received the MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers DEI Leadership Award (Company) and Marc Blackman, chief executive officer at Gold Eagle, who was named the 2023 MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Advocacy Champion.
